Important Note: If you are a veterinarian holding an out-of-state license wishing to come to Florida and volunteer with Hurricane Ian relief efforts, the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine has a temporary veterinarian license available.

Temporary licenses are valid for 30 days to treat animals of multiple owners in response to an emergency. The Board will be waiving the application fee for this license due to the urgent need for volunteers following Hurricane Ian. You can apply for a temporary license here.
