How can I become a member of the FVMA?

Veterinarians residing in the State of Florida who are graduates of an AVMA accredited College of Veterinary Medicine or those who have successfully met the requirements of the Educational Commission of Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) or the Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) are encouraged to become members of the FVMA.

All veterinarian practice owners, their employed veterinarians, and government-employed veterinarians, including university and military veterinarians are eligible.

Non-resident veterinarians fitting the criteria described above may also become members.

Veterinary technicians, and veterinary assistants certified by the FVMA in the State of Florida automatically receive membership, and practice managers and on-the-job-trained veterinary technicians are also encouraged to become members of the FVMA.

To become a member, please call the FVMA at 1.800.992.3862 and a membership representative will walk you through the process.
