Due to the prevailing uncertainty of what we can expect in the coming months, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 8th Gulf-Atlantic Veterinary Conference scheduled for December 3-6, 2020. The FVMA’s top priority at this time is the safety and well-being of our veterinary colleagues as we strive to fulfill our commitment to providing veterinarians with world-class continuing education.
We have determined that the cancellation of our yearly in-person symposium is necessary in order to protect attendees, speakers and our industry partners during the pandemic. However, we have pivoted our efforts and are investigating the viability of providing our world-class CE program virtually this year, and are aggressively working towards determining the feasibility of presenting a virtual event in 2020. We hope we will be able to let you know more in the coming weeks.
The COVID-19 pandemic has upended so many plans, forcing us to adjust to a new normal for the forceable future. Our commitment to the veterinary community remains as strong and as enduring as before. Thank you for your dedication to your clients, patients and your community through this very difficult period, and thank you for your invaluable service. We are proud to support you.
