Dr. Jeannette Gonzalez is originally from Connecticut and relocated to Florida in 2016 to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Before pursuing veterinary medicine, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University in New York and spent six years working in Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase.
After earning her veterinary degree from the University of Florida in 2020, Dr. Gonzalez completed VEG’s Emergency Internship Program in White Plains, New York. She then returned to Florida, where she has spent the past four years practicing as an emergency veterinarian in South Tampa. During that time, she also completed VEG’s ER Certificate Program and Medical Director Apprenticeship.
Dr. Gonzalez is passionate about emergency medicine, doctor development, and delivering an exceptional experience for pets and their families. Outside of work, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with her two beautiful children, Roman and Romily, and her Icelandic Sheepdog, Olli.
